
Introduction to University
Northeast Normal University (NENU), founded in Changchun in 1946, is the first comprehensive university in Northeast China. Over the past 70 years, since the establishment of the university, NENU has formed a distinctive school-running characteristic of "Serving Basic Education", being praised as "The Cradle of the People's Teachers".
Adhering to the principle of open-running school, NENU continuously strides forward. It has established cooperation and exchange relations with more than 297 universities and research institutions in over 30 countries and regions, including the U.S., Canada, the UK, Australia, Korea, Japan and Russia, etc. In 2015, NENU co-founded Rutgers University Newark Institute at NENU with Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. Also, NENU has established Confucius Institutes in Korea, Spain, the U.S., Canada, and Mongolia.
NENU can provide non-degree program (language students, general advanced students, senior advanced students and research scholars) and degree programs (undergraduates, postgraduates) for international students to apply. NENU warmly welcomes international students!

NENU regards scientific research as the foundation of strengthening school, forming such superior representative disciplines as Education, Psychology, History, Ideological and Political Education, Biology, Ecology and Chemistry.
Applicants must be Malaysian citizens with a senior secondary school diploma or an equivalent, with clean criminal record, be in good health, and possess valid passports.
Undergraduate Program:
UEC transcript, STPM transcript or A-level (Students with STPM and A-level are also required to provide qualified HSK 5 certificate )
Postgraduate Program:
for Master’s Degree Candidate: notarized Bachelor’ Degree Certificate & Transcript, two recommendation letters from (associate)professors, Study Plan;
For Doctoral Degree Candidate: notarized Master’ Degree Certificate & Transcript, two recommendation letters from professors, Study Plan
(Chinese-instructed majors need to provide HSK6 qualified transcripts)
